My fiancee and I were looking for our first home in the Marina Del Rey/Venice/Santa Monica areas and were fortunate to meet James Chen through a mutual friend. Upon reaching out to James he was quick to respond and to meet with us to discuss our needs.
Right off the bat, we got the impression that James was quite experienced in the real estate buying process. During our 5 month search, James was transparent with his thoughts on a given property and didn’t try to “sell” us on a place just because it would earn him a commission. As we were navigating this beast of a real estate market, James made himself available to meet with us, show us a listing or to take a phone call to discuss our progress.
He was always quick to respond and never missed a beat to in sending us a listing for our review. When we finally found the home we wanted, James was there every step of the way to guide us in locking in our dream pad. Here we are, almost 3 months later, sitting on our 2nd level balcony overlooking Main St. in Venice reviewing the professional, detail-oriented, honest, hard working (and may I add awesome!) gentlemen named James Chen.
I highly recommend him to anyone looking for their first home, their twelfth or an investment property.
